Transparency International Rwanda (TI-Rwanda) is a non-governmental and non-profit organization whose mission is to promote good governance and fighting corruption through enhancing integrity values in the Rwandan society.
In the framework of strengthening its core staff in the Executive Secretariat to deliver to its mission, TI-Rwanda is seeking to hire 2 highly qualified, dedicated and experienced young professionals in communication and monitoring & evaluation.

JUNIOR COMMUNICATION OFFICER
Contract Duration : 1 year (renewable upon performance)
Reports to : Program Manager

Tasks and responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Junior Communication Officer’s tasks will include :
• Perform public relations function such as pre-drafting press releases, organizing media coverage and briefing media, – Handle media relations role to enhance the working relationship between TI-Rwanda and media in coverage for strategic positioning of TI-Rwanda
• Regularly update TI-Rwanda website
• Regularly update TI-Rwanda social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, …) and be responsive towards requests and messages provided by the public through these platforms ;
• Ensure effective technical functioning of TI-Rwanda online reporting platform – IFATE
• Provide basic technical maintenance of TI-Rwanda equipment and notify the maintenance company in case there is a need of an IT expert.
• Play a role in the organization of TI-Rwanda major events and events management
Qualifications and experience
• At least a bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or ICT related field ;
• At least 2 years experience in an NGO or in public institution preferably working in governance ;
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda, English and French (both oral and written) ;
• Excellent writing skills ; – Highly organized and detail oriented ; – Able to prioritize and produce work of a consistently high standard ;
• Full computer literacy ;
• Proven experience in using editing software (Adobe In Design, Photoshop, Premier, …)
• Proven experience in using different web content management systems, JOOMLA included ;
• Proven experience in using professional photo cameras to shoot videos and pictures ;
• Being responsible, hardworking, proactive and a man/woman of integrity ;
• Availability to start immediately ;

JUNIOR MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER
Contract Duration : 1 year (renewable upon performance)
Reports to : Program Manager

Tasks and responsibilities
• Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Junior Monitoring & Evaluation Officer’s tasks will include :
• Prepare progress reports in accordance with approved reporting formats and submit them to the Executive Director including : monthly reports, quarterly reports, and annual reports ;
• Ensure M&E for all TI-Rw projects ;
• Prepare reports on M&E findings ;
• Update and align the M&E database to the action plan and strategic plan ;
• Collect from projects coordinators data to be filled in the designed M&E database ;
• Any other task which might be requested by his/her line managers and contributing to the achievement of Transparency International Rwanda’s objectives ;
Qualifications and experience
• At least a bachelor degree in Social Sciences including economics, Business Administration, procurement, Public administration, Project Management or any other related field ;
• At least 3 years working experience in a related field (documentary production, website maintenance, designing, … ;
• Excellent writing skills ;
• Fluency in Kinyarwanda and English. Knowledge of French will be an added advantage ;
• Full computer literacy ; – Highly organized and detail oriented ;
• Able to prioritize and produce work of a consistently high standard ;
• Being responsible, hardworking, proactive and a man/woman of integrity ;
• Availability to start immediately ;
