What Is BIOS ?
Computer BIOS is a software which starts to run when user turn the power on of the computer. It is the program who personally starts the whole system like hard disk, ram, video card and etc. to get the computer system started in a normal state. BIOS has been there in our computer since the days of DOS – Disk Operating System. The fundamental purposes of the BIOS in a modern PCs are to initialize and test the system hardware components and it also has a good role to load the boot loader of an OS from a mass storage memory device to open an operating system in a right way.
There are four main function of Computer’s BIOS and those are :
• POST – Test the computer hardware and make sure no errors exist before loading the operating system.
• BOOSTRAP LOADER – Locate the operating system .If a capable operating system is located the BIOS will pass control to it.
• BIOS Driver – Low level drivers that give the bios basic operational control over your computer.
• BIOS or CMOS setup – Configuration program that allows you to configure hardware setting including system setting such as computer password, time and date.
Actually, BIOS additionally provides on abstraction layers for the hardware i.e, consistent way for application programs and operating system to interact with the keyboard, display and some other input output devices. It can arrange for data to flow directly to memory from the devices that requires faster data flow to be in process.

How To Access BIOS ?

In this menu you can take over your CPU setting which potentially giving you more options to makes you CPU performance controllable and that’s help for those users who need system overclocking. This should be perform if you are not comfortable with your computer’s hardware like low performance.
• Save And Exit – When you finished with adjusting your setting, you will just need to save and exit in order for changes to take effect .When you successfully save the setting your computer will reboot immediately and start with the new configuration.
